I made this image in April 23, 2005. The camera I used was my very first digital SLR. It was a Konica Minolta Dynax 7D and I had a 300/2.8 lens on. In those days a great camera!

It was a cold morning and the sun has just risen above the horizon. The cranes seemed to freeze, but enjoyed the little warmth the sun provided.

About ten years ago I encountered this European lynx (Lynx lynx). The lynx was walking toward me and stops when I sat down. I managed to take four pictures and this is my favorite.

I used film and if I remember correctly, I used Provia 400 and a Minolta Dynax 7 and a 80-200/2,8 telephoto zoom.

A photographer that had a really close encounter to a lynx is Terje Hellesø. This picture is fantastic. Terje photographed the lynx with a 17mm fisheye!

A stormy sunset that I photographed in August 2005.

I looked through my archives yesterday and found this picture. I made this image in August 2006.

One of my favorite locations. This stream is called Kvällån. It is located a few km outside Åsele.

I remember it was a cold morning.  But what a wonderful morning!

The first snow of the year had fallen during the night. November 16th, 2008

Just an image from 11 June 2005.

This is an old photo. I can’t find my notes and I don’t remember what year I took the photo. The lake is called lake Borkan. To the left you see a part of the mountain Borkan and in the middle Daevnie. To the right you see some of the mount Kittelfjäll.

Back then I used slide film. I believe I used a Nikon F5 on a tripod with 50/1.8 and Velvia 50.

I remember it was cold. My fingers ached and it was windy.

I came across this moose in the end of July 2007. I regret that I didn’t have brought with me a telephoto lens. So I did some landscape shoots with a moose in.

At home in front of the computer, I discovered that a seagull was sitting on a rock, a common goldeneye and a beaver swam downstream.

Do you see them? It may be hard to see them when the picture is so little. But they are there.
